Mini Monsters hit Liverpool

Liverpool played host to the NFL Founding franchise Chicago Bears as they brought their hugely successful Mini Monsters event to the UK for the second time.

Children from Multiple schools in Liverpool had the opportunity to take part in this community initiative and pick up American Football for the first time.

Mini Monsters clinics provide free youth coaching for boys and girls between the ages of 7-12. The 90 minute programme stresses the importance of healthy eating, physical activity and proper hydration through fun, non-contact American Football drills. Participation is for children and young people regardless of experience with American Football or level of physical capability.

Shaun Gayle, Chicago Bears Legend was in attendance as well as Bears Manager of Youth Football & Community Programs Gustavo Silva was in attendance. Liverpool was one of 6 Locations on this years tour.
