New York Jets Announce New Partnership with Choose New Jersey
July 30, 2024 – The New York Jets have announced a multi-year partnership with Choose New Jersey, the state’s leading non-profit business attraction organization. As a part of the deal, Choose New Jersey will receive sponsorship assets in both the United States and the United Kingdom to promote business in the State of New Jersey.
Choose New Jersey will use this partnership and its assets to reach domestic and international decision-makers to stimulate job creation and attract capital investment to the state while painting a fuller picture of New Jersey’s unique attributes as a place to grow a business and raise a family. Choose New Jersey will be provided advertising opportunities through stadium signage during Jets home games and B-to-B targeted digital rights. As part of the agreement, the Jets will join Choose New Jersey’s Board of Directors in an effort to help further their mission of building a stronger and more prosperous New Jersey for all.
“The Jets are extremely excited to partner with Choose New Jersey as they carry the story of this great state all around the world. We will support their mission of emphasizing New Jersey’s leading business sectors and our expanding economy to encourage domestic and global businesses to make New Jersey their home,” said Jeff Fernandez, Vice President, Business Development + Ventures. “We look forward to expanding awareness of both organizations in the United Kingdom, as we continue to grow the game of American football.”
“We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with the New York Jets,” said Wesley Mathews, President and CEO of Choose New Jersey. “This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to excellence and community engagement. Together, we aim to drive economic growth and showcase the incredible opportunities that New Jersey offers.”

About New York Jets
The New York Jets were founded in 1959 as the New York Titans, an original member of the American Football League (AFL). The Jets won Super Bowl III, defeating the NFL’s Baltimore Colts in 1969. In 1970, the franchise joined the National Football League in the historic AFL–NFL merger that set the foundation for today’s league. As part of a commitment to its fan base through innovation and experiences, the team has created initiatives such as, its trailblazing Jets Rewards program, a state-of-the-art mobile app, and 1JD Entertainment, a comprehensive content platform that gives fans greater access to the team across all digital and social platforms. The organization takes great pride in a long-standing, year-round commitment to their community. These programs are funded by the New York Jets Foundation and look to positively influence the lives of young men and women in the tri-state area, particularly in disadvantaged communities. The organization supports the efforts of the Lupus Research Alliance, youth football and numerous established charitable organizations and causes sponsored by the NFL. The New York Jets play in MetLife Stadium, which opened in 2010, and are headquartered at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, New Jersey.
