NFL Announces Schedule for 2024 International Games

Three Games in London Scheduled for Oct. 6, Oct. 13 and Oct. 20

NEW YORK — May 15, 2024 — The National Football League has announced the schedule of the 2024 International Games that will be played across London, U.K., Munich, Germany and São Paulo, Brazil — as the league’s global footprint continues to expand.

The Minnesota Vikings will kick off the league’s return to Europe on Sunday, Oct. 6, as they play the New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium — the only purpose-built NFL stadium outside of the U.S.

The following Sunday, Oct. 13, also at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Chicago Bears will play the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The London focus then shifts to Wembley Stadium as the Jaguars take on the New England Patriots on Sunday, Oct. 20. This is the second time Jacksonville will play back-to-back games in the U.K., marking the team’s 12th and 13th regular season games in London.

“The 2024 NFL London Games promise to be a football spectacle once again for fans in the U.K. and beyond,” said GM NFL U.K. & Ireland Henry Hodgson. “We have played games in London since 2007, and there has never been greater interest in the sport here. We look forward to welcoming the teams to the capital later this year, engaging new fans and bringing the game to new audiences.”

“We’ve worked hard over the past decade-plus to establish the Jacksonville Jaguars as the home team for NFL fans in London, the United Kingdom and now Ireland,” said Jacksonville Jaguars Owner Shahid Khan. “Playing back-to-back games in London for the second consecutive year speaks to that commitment. We’re going to make the most of it, especially in the days ahead of our traditional home game at Wembley Stadium vs. the Patriots on October 20.”

“We are excited to have the opportunity to play against the Minnesota Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this upcoming season,” said New York Jets President Hymie Elhai. “Over the last few years, we have seen our roots grow in the United Kingdom, as we have worked to expand our fan base beyond our domestic boarders. This will be yet another opportunity to entertain and engage with our fans in the United Kingdom and showcase the best of the New York Jets on British soil.”

“We look forward to returning to London to play in historic Wembley Stadium for the third time,” said Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft. “There is no venue in which we have had greater success and no road game where New Englanders have felt more at home. We hope this year’s experience is as successful and as memorable as each of our prior games in London.”

The NFL Academy will also return to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday, Oct. 8 to play U.S. high school De La Salle from Concord, California. The NFL Academy is an elite football development program for talented student athletes based in the U.K., delivered in partnership with Loughborough College and Loughborough University.

Since its inception, more than 40 NFL Academy alumni have secured college football scholarships in the U.S., with over 30 students set to play college football in the 2024 season (19 of those playing in Division 1 programs).

The Carolina Panthers will play the New York Giants in Munich at Allianz Arena — Home of FC Bayern Munich on Sunday, Nov. 10 as part of the NFL’s commitment to playing regular season games in Germany.

This season’s slate of International Games will begin in São Paulo, Brazil on Friday night of Week 1 of the regular season. The Green Bay Packers will take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday, Sept. 6 at 8:15 PM ET.
