NFL International Fan of the Year Contest Returns for Year Two

2024 NFL International Fan of the Year to Launch Officially on Sept. 2

Winners to be Honored on Stage at the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay

NEW YORK — Aug. 29, 2024 — The National Football League has announced the NFL International Fan of the Year contest will return for its second year, celebrating international fans of all 32 clubs and expanding its participant pool to nine global markets.

The International Fan of the Year title celebrates extraordinary fans globally who inspire others with their passion for the game and have been a rallying force across their family, friends and local community through fandom.

Expanding beyond the U.S. to nine eligible international markets this season — with the additions of Brazil, Spain and Ireland — fans from around the world who use American football as a platform for inspiration and change will be honored for their love of the game.

Starting Sept. 2, 2024, fans will be able to nominate themselves to represent their team as a 2024 NFL International Fan of the Year at nfl.com/fanoftheyear.

"We are thrilled to announce the return of our growing International Fan of the Year program, which presents a unique opportunity to honor and showcase our passionate NFL fans worldwide," said Vice President, International Marketing, NFL, Stephanie Hsiao. "Building on the incredible success of last year's program and the unforgettable experience at the 2024 NFL Draft, we eagerly anticipate another fantastic group of nominees from around the world this season.”

Each of the 32 clubs will select an International Fan of the Year to represent their team at the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Ultimate NFL International Fan of the Year — the most impactful international fan across all 32 teams — will be awarded and named onsite at the 2025 NFL Draft.

To celebrate the program’s inaugural season which garnered over 11,200 nominations, 2023 International Fans representing each of the 32 teams attended the 2024 NFL Draft — where Dallas Cowboys’ Fan of the Year Eduardo Flores was proudly crowned the 2023 Ultimate International Fan of the Year.

The submission window for the contest will open Sept. 2, 2024, and remain open through 11:59 PM ET on November 15, 2024. All 32 international nominees will be announced on Feb. 24, 2025.

Fans can visit nfl.com/fanoftheyear as well as their team’s website and social handles for more information.

Fans based in the U.S. can be nominated to be their team’s 2024 domestic NFL Fan of the Year Presented by Captain Morgan, with applications open domestically through 11:59 PM ET Sept. 30, 2024.
